NPD (Tax-Free Allowance)
NPD reduces income tax. In 2025, the maximum NPD is €747 per month. The NPD amount depends on salary size and decreases as salary increases.
Minimum Monthly Wage (MMA)
In 2025, the MMA in Lithuania is €1038. This is the minimum salary an employer can pay an employee for full-time work.
PIT (Personal Income Tax)
The standard PIT rate is 20%. The tax is calculated on taxable income (salary minus NPD).
Sodra Contributions
The employee pays 19.5% (6.98% for health + 12.52% for social insurance). The employer additionally pays 1.77% to Sodra.
